In doing so, she marries many times and accumulates an enviable fortune - by fair means and foul - prior to reclaiming her semi-divine status as Queen. The songs for this, Pt.2 of QC's 1-woman show "Queen Christina", are derived from selected folksongs from John Gay's original "Beggar's Opera".
